Lighting The Way To Better Birth

Thankyou Nic for demonstrating the huge problems that the Ausralian women suffer in regards to lack of maternity care. Unfortunately, one to one midwifery care and continuity of midwifery carer represents a very small proportion of the population in our so called lucky country. We are frequently subjected to unnecessary obstetrical 'help' (or more appropriately unnecessary interference) in the misguided belief that we are safer. The fact remains that midwives are the specialists in normal birth and the most appropriate carer for pregnant women is a known midwife.
