Lighting The Way To Better Birth

The modern maternity care system is in disarray... with overservicing, high intervention, and high cost.
Midwives, working alongside the women they serve, will light the way to better birth.

Congratulations for standing up for midwifery care and the continuous care and on-to-one model of care. WHO recommends that women have a right to birth in their own community (that is NOT travel miles to get to a teriary hospital to give birth with an unknown carer.) and research shows very clearly that if a birthing women has a continuous carer her intervention rate will go down remarkedly and she and her baby will have a much better chance in live. Surley if nothing elses this should ring the money bells of the government.
