Thanks NSW mum for the comments. I don't really know much about the issue but I'm sure if this ad wins it has a real chance of putting the issue on the national political agenda. I'm still a bit confused though - what is the current position regarding midwives in oz - friends of mine had a midwife deliver their baby at home - I still don't understand why this is not a choice for everyone - is it medicare that will not foot the bill?
