I believe

"I believe" looks at some essential elements needed for a group of people (society) to work together cohesively.
It was inspired by the idea that a government reflects its people, and so a society silent to a government which is careless, destructive and dishonest is also responsible for the outcomes of these actions.
It looks at the importance of understanding what we believe as individuals and to speak them to each other and to our governments.
Governments will change if we speak out loud enough.

no it's not a take off of

no it's not a take off of the ch 10 ad ... it was one of those situations where 2 ideas appeared at the same time.. I'd spent a lot of time writing to get a volumous essay to those few words. I cannot tell you how disheartened I was when I saw that ad, I nearly had a tantrum and tears, but I did believe in what I was doing and I didn't have time to change course.
I agree with your last comment whole heartedly, and it is the outspoken and activists and all the wonderful people who care about more than their interest rates and back pocket who keep me sane and this government's blatant non listening behaviour should've made the whole country stand up many years ago.
This ad is not for the converted, it is directed at the mainstream who simply accept this government's behaviour. Looking at the trends of mass consumerism, greenhouse emissions p/person and destruction of this beautiful place in such a short amount of time, it seems that there are a lot of Australians who simply believe in money, short term gain and materialism.
