I believe

"I believe" looks at some essential elements needed for a group of people (society) to work together cohesively.
It was inspired by the idea that a government reflects its people, and so a society silent to a government which is careless, destructive and dishonest is also responsible for the outcomes of these actions.
It looks at the importance of understanding what we believe as individuals and to speak them to each other and to our governments.
Governments will change if we speak out loud enough.

getting the message out

Its interesting that people are saying that this ad is a rip off, or too commercial...????...I think its a very elegant ad (done on a fraction of the budget of a corporate channel)and perhaps its most appealing aspect is that you can imagine it on channel 9, or 7 or 10. The beauty of this ad is that its not an 'in joke', like some of the others, and it isnt preaching to the converted, in fact, it is able to take a place in the commercial stream and butt heads with them. It is slick and simple and familiar and therefore able to connect with the general public, whom, if our voting system is a true reflection, thrive on commercialism, Howard, and simplicity. Too often advocacy groups speak in languages that cannot be understood by the general public, so their message doesnt get across . I think this ad is a bridge builder, it's honest, it''s appealing, it's simple and direct. It doesnt isoalte the general public from advocacy groups... rather it invites them in.
