I believe

"I believe" looks at some essential elements needed for a group of people (society) to work together cohesively.
It was inspired by the idea that a government reflects its people, and so a society silent to a government which is careless, destructive and dishonest is also responsible for the outcomes of these actions.
It looks at the importance of understanding what we believe as individuals and to speak them to each other and to our governments.
Governments will change if we speak out loud enough.

Thank you Chien for your comments I really appreciate them. The chanel 10 ad thing was a real blow so I'm glad you see they have different intentions.
Before making the ad, I was looking around at my world and wondered what we really did believe in, what with our obsession with buying and consuming "stuff". It seemed to me that as the world was heating up we were getting hot in the shops buying all this stuff. I was also interested in the overt acceptance of lying as a legitimate form of social transaction, accountability seems to have gone out the window, and in all that we've forgotten what the basic function of a government is and that we have a responsibility to keep a check on them and if they are not doing their job then it's our job to get rid of them.
( I suppose a psychologist would say that because of our deep fear that we've really mucked up the planet we're sublimating that fear with denial which then manifests itself in a shiny applianced world... fooling ourselves we're in control and all is well)
